Nicole, an associate attorney in the firm, concentrates her practice on estate planning, trusts, and probate administration. Nicole understands the importance of using the right tools to ensure that each individual and family’s legacy is preserved for loved ones. As a thoughtful problem solver, Nicole strives to ensure that every estate plan reflects the goals and circumstances of each particular client. As a former litigator, she understands the importance of thorough preparation in the present to avoid legal issues in the future.
Nicole received her Juris Doctorate degree from Seattle University School of Law, cum laude. During law school, she was an article editor for the Seattle Journal for Social Justice and a member of the William L. Dwyer Inn of Court. After law school, Nicole worked as a public defender for eight years, where her practice primarily focused on mental health advocacy. In 2018, the Washington Defender Association awarded her with a Certificate of Achievement for challenging a municipal ordinance that resulted in the dismissal of over 40 cases. Over the course of her service as a public defender, Nicole developed an interest in appellate advocacy. She briefed and argued before Division II of the Washington State Court of Appeals twice, prevailing both times. Both of her appellate cases are now published case law in the State of Washington (In Matter of Detention of L.K., 14 Wn. App. 2d 542, 471 P.3d 975 (2020), In re the Detention of E.S., 22 Wn. App. 2d 161, 509 P.3d 871 (2022)).
Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys playing tennis, traveling, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.
