Joseph, an associate attorney in the firm, advises clients on complex tax, estate planning, and business succession matters – with a special focus on international issues. Prior to joining Fahlman Little Wheeler, Joseph lived and worked in the “four Asian tigers” of Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore, where he practiced US and international corporate and tax law. His experience working in Asia has provided him with a unique insight into the region’s legal, tax, and cultural systems, which he leverages for the benefit of his clients. He has advised high net worth international families, large hedge funds, private equity firms, and entrepreneurs and founders in the technology industry. 

Joseph received his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Washington, his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma, and his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston. He is admitted to practice law in the States of Washington, New York, and South Dakota. In his spare time, Joseph and his wife enjoy being out on the water, hiking the many trails in the Pacific Northwest, and traveling internationally.
